Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans. This role offers an opportunity to work in a patient-centered workplace, utilizing advanced technology such as Epic electronic health records, and serving diverse patient populations ranging from pediatrics to senior care. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and eye health
Diagnose and manage ocular conditions using up-to-date medical knowledge and technology
Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses based on patient needs
Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care delivery
Utilize electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
Provide care for pediatric patients and senior citizens as needed




Assist in sales of eyewear products by offering professional recommendations
Stay current with advancements in optometry practices and participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements
Valid state licensure as an Optometrist with current certification to practice medicine
Experience in optical care, pediatrics, senior care, or related fields is preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to eye health and treatment
Experience with Visual Eyes electronic health record system is a plus
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Prior experience in sales of eyewear or optical products is advantageous

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,362.95-$224,162.91 per year
