Overview
Our client is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the engineering strategy and execution of major data center projects. This role is ideal for a senior engineering leader with a strong background in mission-critical facilities, complex infrastructure, and high-performance project delivery.The ideal candidate comes from a consulting engineering environment and has experience leading multidisciplinary teams across design, planning, technical reviews, client management, and project execution.Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering strategy and technical direction for data center projectsOversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil disciplinesManage design reviews, technical standards, project planning, and engineering deliverablesWork closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal leadershipSupport project execution from early design through construction and commissioningIdentify technical risks, resolve design challenges,



and ensure engineering excellenceBuild, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teamsQualifications
Senior engineering leadership experience within consulting engineering, mission-critical, or infrastructure projectsStrong experience with data center, critical facilities, or complex technical building projectsBackground working for a consulting engineering firm is strongly preferredStrong understanding of design coordination, technical standards, constructability, and project deliveryProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationshipsP.Eng. designation is considered a solid assetWhy Apply
