ETL QA Test Analyst Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid 2 days per week in Toronto office (preferred) Role & Responsibilities: Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.

Prepare test plans, strategies, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.

Prepare data for testing.

Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.

Develop testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability.

Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.

Identify, analyze, and document problems with program functionality, output, online screens, or content.

Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.

Create and maintain databases of known test defects.

Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.

Must Have Skills: QA Test Analyst experience.

8+ years of overall experience.

ETL testing experience.





5+ years of hands-on ETL testing experience.

Database/Backend testing experience, including writing and validating medium to high complexity SQL queries.

Experience writing Unix commands through shell scripting.

In-depth knowledge and working experience with: Netezza SQL HBase Kafka Hive Experience working on Agile projects.

Experience with: MS SSIS SSRS AWS Redshift Experience with HP ALM.

Solid prioritization skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Robust multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage independent and distinct challenges.

Nice to Have Skills: Exposure to Cloud/AWS.

Exposure to visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Knowledge of REST APIs.
