Technical project manager for client engineering and game engagements. Full time, in-person at our Concord, ON studio.
You will run client engagements alongside the senior engineer or game developer leading the work — owning the schedule, the customer comms, the demo cadence, and the deliverables. You will not be a JIRA jockey. You are expected to read the code, understand the scope, and push back on bad scope when you see it.
Responsibilities
01 Run two to three concurrent client engagements end-to-end
02 Own the schedule, the weekly customer demos, and the change-management conversations
03 Push back on scope creep and unrealistic dates — internally and with clients
04 Surface blockers quick;
coordinate the team to explicit them
05 Maintain the post-launch support cadence for live engagements
Qualifications
01 5+ years managing software or game engagements at a studio or consultancy
02 Strong technical literacy — you should be able to read a PR description and explain it back
04 Track record of shipping multiple concurrent engagements on or near schedule
Nice to have
01 Background as an engineer or designer before moving into PM
02 Experience with game studios or AR/VR client work
03 PMP / Scrum certifications are not required (but not harmful)
