A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic Responsibilities Profitability & Performance Analysis Analyze client, product, and operational profitability toidentifytrends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop andmaintainprofitability models (by customer, route, service, etc.).
Monitor and report on target margins, including detailed variance analysis and actionable insights.
Identifycost-saving and revenue optimization opportunities across operations (e.g., sort, linehaul, compensation).
Reporting & Business Insights Prepare and present financial reports for key stakeholders.
Translate complex financial data into explicit, actionable recommendations.
Ensure data integrity andvalidateinputs from various stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve accuracy.
Build dashboards and automated reporting tools to enhance visibility on financial performance.
Business Partnering Partner with Sales teams to review P&L; performance, revenue trends, and forecasts.
Lead regular business reviews with Sales to evaluate profitability and performance against targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that improve margins and efficiency.
Support international business units with financial analysis and performance tracking.
Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning Support the budgeting and forecasting process, particularly on revenue and profitability components.
Develop financial projections and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
Monitor actual performance againstrevenueforecasts and explain key variances.
Continuous Improvement & Post-Implementation Review Conduct post-implementation reviews of initiatives to assessfinancial impactandidentifyimprovement areas.
Recommend process enhancements to improve financial tracking, reporting accuracy, and decision-making.
Drive standardization of profitability analysis methodologies across the organization.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects Supportfinancial analysis and business case development for special projects and strategic initiatives.
Support leadership with data-driven insights for key business decisions.
Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in administration or accounting CPA title (an asset) Relevant experience as a financial analyst (2 to 4 years) Bilingual (English and French) Able to popularize operational activities and transpose them into a financial context Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration and initiative Excel (Formula, macro and programming an asset) Why Join Us?
