Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Milton, Yukon Court, Canada
Time Type: Full Time
Compensation: Salary starting at $50,000 per annum, plus eligible advantages in accordance with experience and internal equity.

Responsibilities

- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with DSV Canada and HealthcareQMS standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada, GDP/GMP, ISO, and client expectations.
- Implement the site-level QMS structure and support multi‑site quality initiatives.
- Conduct process audits and self‑inspections; identify gaps, provide recommendations, and track CAPA development.
- Prepare for, support, and host internal, external, client, and regulatory audits.
- Manage quality events including deviations, change controls, complaints, returns, and recalls.
- Maintain and control quality documentation (SOPs, logs, records) ensuring accuracy, version control, and audit readiness.
- Act as Site Document Control Administrator and manage records within the Quality Information System (QIS).
- Monitor key operational quality processes such as temperature control, mapping, sensors, sanitation, pest control, and equipment records.
- Review and analyze data (e.g., Sensitech, Vaisala, ValidAide) to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Support validation and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).




- Apply risk‑based methodologies such as FMEA to quality processes.
- Partner with operations and cross‑functional teams, lead Quality Improvement Team meetings, manage action plans, and promote quality initiatives.
- Support supplier/vendor qualification, onboarding, and compliance; assist with customer onboarding, audits, and quality inquiries.
- Coordinate and track employee quality training in collaboration with Human Resources and training teams.

Qualifications

- Post‑secondary education in Quality, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in quality assurance within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated logistics environments.
- Knowledge of GDP/GMP, ISO standards, and Health Canada requirements.
- Experience with audits, CAPA, and document control systems.
- Familiarity with QIS, Vaisala, ValidAide, or similar systems is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Work Environment

The role is primarily performed in a warehouse environment. The employee will spend most of the time handling client products, navigating racks, conveyors, stairs, and multiple levels of storage. All safety precautions must be followed. Reasonable accommodations may be made, and up to 30% travel between Canadian sites may be required.
