Step into the role of Technical Assembler at ABB in Dorval, focusing on Emergency Lighting production. Your day-to-day activities will revolve around machine operation and product assembly.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in meeting production objectives while ensuring quality standards. Your responsibilities include using automated machines for SMT and TH assembly, as well as performing quality checks on PCBs. Demonstrating autonomy and skill in interpreting technical drawings will be vital for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate SMT machines for installing electronic components
• Set up machines for proper solder paste application
• Load appropriate feeders based on program selections
• Conduct production tests to ensure quality standards
• Adhere to health and safety protocols during operations
Requirements:
• Must have a high school diploma
• Experience as a solderer or operator is an advantage
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standard is beneficial
• Ability to read technical diagrams and silkscreen on PCBs
• Fluent in French and/or English, both spoken and written
