You'll play a crucial role in the Youth Short Term Assessment and Response (Y-STAR) Program as a primary provider of clinical services to at-risk youth. Your responsibilities will include assessments, treatment planning, and active collaboration with families and community organizations. Your skills will enhance both the clinical services and educational efforts in mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive assessments of youth
• Implement treatment plans focused on care and rehabilitation
• Work collaboratively with community service providers
• Develop policies and recommendations for best practices
• Educate families on mental health topics
Requirements:
• Registered as RN or RPN with BCCNM
• Two years of related experience in psychiatric settings
• Current CPR certificate level C
• BC Driver's license and access to vehicle
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
