About the Role We are seeking a QA Analyst to join our technology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about software quality, possesses strong analytical skills, and thrives in an agile development setting. You will play a crucial role in defining and implementing testing strategies, ensuring the highest level of quality across our digital products.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement software quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover all logic paths.
Ensure client requirements are fully understood and met throughout the testing process.
Execute manual testing with a greater focus on shifting towards automation (Playwright/Typescript + Appium)
Leveraging AI to generate test cases/scripts + debug defects
Build and script new tools to enhance testing and validation functions.
Monitor product performance, gather relevant data, and produce statistical reports to guide development improvements.
Facilitate and optimize product testing processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Utilize data-driven approaches and statistics to validate testing conclusions.




Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and emerging testing technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or Engineering.
3+ years of experience in a software QA or testing role in Web and Mobile Apps.
At least 1 year of experience with automated testing , including Selenium for web and Appium for mobile applications.
Experience developing test frameworks, defining test strategies, and selecting automated testing tools.
Expertise in agile development environments with a proven track record of successful testing implementations.
Hands-on experience with API testing and HTTP debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Burp Suite Proxy.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Firebase Analytics.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Candidates should have familiarity with some of the following technologies:
Bootstrap, jQuery, Backbone.js, MySQL, XSS, CSRF, AJAX, JSON, RESTful APIs, Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Source Control, Git, Linux, Apache, Nginx, AWS, MVC, HTML, CSS
Additional Information This role represents an active vacancy at Havas. You will be joining a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where ideas are encouraged and career development is supported. The base salary range for this position is CAD $55,000 to $65,000, with final compensation determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and background.
