Administrative Component
In accordance with established mission, vision and values of the organization, this position is accountable for the administration, supervision, planning and budgeting of the department. Reporting to the Health Services Administrator on administrative matters, this position is responsible for monitoring and managing budgets, workload, quality, labour relations and human resource issues.
The incumbent is responsible for interpreting and implementing all organizational regulations, policies and procedures as they apply to Medical Imaging services.
Lead Technologist Component
The position is responsible for ensuring that standards for the Diagnostic Imaging staff are consistent with regulatory/accrediting body standards and relevant legislation. Provides clinical guidance to designated Medical Imaging staff practicing in the facility.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work
Rotating, Days – 08:00 to 16:00. This position works Stat Holidays, but does not work Weekends.
