As part of the facility management team, the EHS Technician reports to the Global EHS Manager. Your main tasks will include inspecting hazardous materials, conducting noise surveys, and managing chemical inventories. This role is crucial in maintaining protected environments and meeting stringent compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect facilities for batteries and electronic waste
• Coordinate hazardous waste packaging and shipments
• Conduct monthly safety inspections inside and outside
• Support labs with waste disposal and reclaim efforts
• Participate actively in emergency response teams and drills
Requirements:
• Required: High School diploma or GED and 2 years in EHS
• Availability for overtime and weekend shifts
• Strong computer skills and technical reading abilities
• Excellent communication with clients and management
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
