What will you be doing?

Job Overview: Clean guest rooms and/or other assigned areas in a timely and thorough manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, and cleaning kitchen area and appliances.
- Notify supervisor when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied.
- Report any rooms unable to be serviced to the supervisor according to established procedures.




- Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Respond to guest complaints and special requests to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and control supplies/amenities to minimize waste.
- Maintain linen cart and supplies organized to department standards.
- Maintain security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day.
- Report, turn in, and/or log lost and found items according to established procedures.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects.
- Perform turndown duties if required.
- Follow all company and brand standards in all duties.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Friendly and hospitality-focused.
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapid-paced, stressful environment.
