Job Purpose

Franchise Management Inc. (FMI) is looking to hire an individual who lives by our corporate values of Heart, Integrity and Drive to fill the position of Maintenance Technician . This role involves performing general maintenance and repair for our restaurants, including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC preventive maintenance, gas and electrical maintenance, basic mechanical system repairs, and daily commuting to various locations.

What you will do

- Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC systems as needed.
- Carry out plumbing maintenance tasks and workplace inspections to determine maintenance or repair needs.
- Ensure timely completion of required maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces as required.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical components, appliances, and equipment in accordance with codes and departmental procedures.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and related equipment.
- Conduct basic maintenance on mechanical operating systems,



including HVAC and air conditioning systems.
- Replace burnt-out light bulbs, change HVAC and air conditioning filters, and replace broken windows, doors, locks, and blinds as needed.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures.
- Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Repair and rebuild complex commercial HVAC and environmental systems and oversee outside contractors and HVAC technicians for timely service and performance.

- Must have own vehicle (allowance provided).
- Must have basic tools.
