The Opportunity

Grizzly Supplies is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Surrey, BC . As the CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating machine shop equipment, including programming and modifying related programs.

As the CNC Machinist, your key responsibilities will include:

- Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines, rubber press, and other machine shop equipment
- Program and code to make modifications to existing programs
- Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, and samples to ensure accurate production
- Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping
- Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
- Maintain inventory of completed products
- Identify and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs and maintain a safe and clean workstation

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

- At least two years of prior CNC machine operation experience
- Understanding of and experience with coding, including ability to write and edit G-code files




- Relevant Red Seal trade certification is an asset
- Familiarity with Siemens SINUMERIK or other controller systems
- Experience with Mastercam CAD/CAM and Fusion is an asset
- Experience working with machine tools and/or mechanical assembly
- Excellent mathematical skills and analytical abilities
- High attention to detail, quality, and safety
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The base pay range for this role is: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Surrey, BC .
