Be a part of WSP’s cutting-edge Rail & Transit team as a Lighting Design Specialist. Your designs will enhance transit infrastructure safety and efficiency across Canada.
In this role, you’ll apply your technical skills to create effective roadway and rail lighting designs. With a minimum of two years’ experience, you will be involved in photometric analysis, system circuit design, and CADD deliverables. Your ability to coordinate with various stakeholders will be key in presenting design concepts that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop roadway lighting and traffic signal systems
• Conduct detailed voltage drop calculations
• Prepare high-quality CADD drawings and diagrams
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team sessions
• Present and refine designs based on feedback
Requirements:
• Post-secondary engineering or design qualification
• Minimum two years of experience in lighting design
• Knowledge of relevant local codes and standards
• Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, AGI32
• Leadership experience in team settings is an asset
