The AFN seeks an experienced Policy Analyst committed to First Nations advocacy. This role involves researching policies, proposing recommendations, and building relationships with governmental and educational partners. You will evaluate policies, prepare reports, and present findings to drive meaningful change for First Nations communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive research on First Nations policies
• Develop policy proposals based on research and consultations
• Evaluate existing policies for gaps and improvements




• Collaborate with government and educational entities
• Present reports and policy proposals to stakeholders
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in policy analysis
• Degree in Indigenous Studies, Public Policy, or related field
• Understanding of First Nations' principles and agreements
• Proficiency in data analysis and software
• Robust communication and critical thinking skills
Contribute your expertise in policy analysis to advance First Nations' rights and community capacity at the AFN.
