We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 4–5 Classroom Teacher to join our team.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will teach a combined Grade 4–5 classroom and foster a joyful, structured, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged academically and supported personally.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging instruction across the elementary curriculum, including Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health, and other subject areas as assigned
- Support student development in academics, organization, responsibility, and social-emotional growth
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Create a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom culture
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and student support




- Participate in school activities, field trips, special events, and the broader life of the school community
- Contribute to extracurricular or enrichment opportunities as appropriate

Qualifications

- Valid BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification)
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent
- Experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably in intermediate grades
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centered learning and whole-child education
