About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Building Services and Public Safety to provide strategic and operational leadership across its multi-site portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that facilities operations, plant services, building systems, public safety, and parking services are in line with clinical priorities and support safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. This role involves leading a team of Directors and Managers, overseeing external service providers, and working closely with clinical leaders and other stakeholders to support operational readiness and long-term infrastructure planning.





Key responsibilities for the AVP include providing strategic direction and operational oversight for building services, public safety, and parking services, as well as ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in senior leadership within facilities operations, particularly in a healthcare or similarly complex environment, and will be adept at managing multi-site operations, leading technical teams, and overseeing large budgets. Experience in vendor management, sustainability initiatives, and a proven track record of fostering strong, collaborative relationships are essential. The role also requires the ability to champion sustainability and energy management initiatives, support capital planning, and lead a high-performing team with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
