As a Community Recreation Supervisor, you will facilitate recreational and leisure programs tailored for Canadian Armed Forces families. This position focuses on developing activities that cater to all ages, including children, adults, and seniors. You will supervise program execution, oversee community events, and support families in navigating the complexities of military life through recreational engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coordinate, and manage recreation programs across age groups
• Enhance community connections through civic activities
• Mentor staff and volunteers while fostering team dynamics
• Assess and improve program delivery and operations
• Manage budgetary aspects of programming for efficiency
Requirements:
• High school diploma and relevant recreation program certification
• Proven experience in recreational planning and management
• Effective leadership, innovation, and communication skills
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
• Capability to handle moderate lifting duties
