Work with Surrey Police Service as a Court Liaison Officer to assist in managing complex legal processes and ensuring compliance with evidentiary standards. This auxiliary position requires flexibility in scheduling.
You will play a vital role in the Information Management and Technology Division, supervising the court liaison process and communicating with multiple stakeholders. Your ability to analyze reports and facilitate case management will be critical to success in this role, which offers a minimum of two shifts monthly with variable schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze reports to ensure clarity and validity
• Facilitate communication between police and crown counsel
• Confirm outstanding warrants and arrange remands
• Process court documents for prisoner releases
• Monitor court schedules to resolve conflicts.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education plus relevant coursework
• Five years of experience in a related field
• Required SPS Security Clearance and RCMP Reliability Status
• Ability to work versatile shifts, including weekends
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
