Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Inside Sales & Service Representative to join our growing team at our Penticton location. As an Inside Sales & Service Representative, your primary responsibilities include processing customer orders and addressing inquiries related to products, pricing, and product availability. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth sales experience by providing prompt responses, delivering professional customer service, and demonstrating accurate product knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities

- Answer phone calls, emails, and assist walk-in customers professionally.
- Provide best-in-class customer service and help resolve customer issues and requests timely.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
- Provide pricing and inventory information to customers.
- Process and enter customer orders with detailed specifications into the computer system.
- Support Outside Sales Reps in processing quotes, orders, and other requirements.
- Help organize the showroom and stock shelves.




- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

- 2 to 3 years of customer service experience in the same or similar industry is a definite asset.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- Robust proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software programs.
- Highly motivated with a desire to be successful.
- Willingness to gain advanced knowledge of Fasteners & Tools products and services.
- Self-starter who takes initiative in getting things done.
- A team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
