About the Role Were looking for a hands-on technical lead to join our team as Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and support of Element Fleet''s AWS cloud infrastructure.

You will maintain scalable and secure cloud environments to support the companys transition from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Cloud Services.

You will play a critical part in developing and implementing the companys cloud migration roadmap, ensuring high availability, performance, and security while modernizing IT operations.

What Youll Do Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS aligned to best practices and business requirements.

Lead the technical execution of cloud migration initiatives from legacy on-premise infrastructure to AWS.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud

Formation.

Collaborate with Dev

Ops, Security, and Application teams to define cloud architecture and operational procedures.

Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system performance and availability.

Document infrastructure architecture, procedures, and support models for knowledge transfer and compliance.

Stay current on emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years in infrastructure/operations or SRE across hybrid environments (VMware/Windows/Linux). 3+ years hands-on AWS (EC2/EKS/ECS, Kubernetes, S3, IAM, VPC,



Cloud

Watch/Cloud

Trail/Config).

Proven track record migrating workloads from on-prem to AWS at scale (discovery, wave planning, execution, cutover, rollback).

Strong networking fundamentals (CIDR, routing, VPN/Direct Connect, DNS), security (IAM, KMS, guardrails), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Cloud

Formation).

Certified AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Skilled preferred.

Preferred Qualifications One of: AWS Sys

Ops Administrator or AWS Dev

Ops Engineer (preferred).

Hashi

Corp Terraform Associate, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD.

Experience with Control Tower/Organizations multi-account setups, Transit Gateway, Private

Link, and hybrid DNS.

Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks (CIS/NIST/ISO) and audit evidence practices.

Background with Fin

Ops, showback/chargeback, and unit economics reporting.

Location Toronto, Ontario Compensation The hiring base salary range for this position is $ 99,200 - $136,400 annually.

This range represents the Company''s good-faith estimate of the expected base salary at the time of posting.

Salary ranges may vary based on the geographic location where the work is performed.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the successful candidate''s qualifications, knowledge, skills, experience, internal pay equity, and relevant market data.

In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in annual incentive programs, including bonuses,



commissions, or other incentive compensation, as applicable to the role.
