The Senior Director, People Strategy & Transformation is responsible for driving the execution of the enterprise people strategy through disciplined HR roadmap management, enterprise transformation leadership, and executive alignment.
This role ensures that HR operates as a cohesive, high-performing functiontranslating strategy into action, aligning priorities across leaders, and leading enterprise-level change initiatives that enable business performance.
The role combines strategy, execution, and change leadership, with a primary focus on ensuring that the right priorities are set, delivered, and adopted across the organization.
Key Responsibilities HR Strategy Execution & Roadmap Orchestration (30%) Partner with the CPO to translate the 25 year people strategy into a clear, actionable HR roadmap Own the end-to-end orchestration, prioritization, and governance of the HR roadmap Ensure initiatives are sequenced, resourced, and aligned to business priorities and capacity Track progress, risks, and outcomes, ensuring on- time, high-quality delivery Drive accountability across HR leaders for execution within their respective domains Executive Enablement & Alignment (30%) Act as a strategic and operational partner to the CPO, supporting priority setting, decision-making, and execution Lead preparation of executive materials, including board content, strategy updates, and transformation reporting Drive alignment across the HR leadership team, ensuring clarity on priorities, roles, and trade-offs Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and executive follow-ups Enterprise Change Management & Transformation Delivery (10%)
Own the enterprise change management strategy and capability across HR and the broader organization Lead the design and delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives (e.g., org redesign, AI adoption, operating model changes) Ensure consistent change methodologies, tools, and practices are applied across initiatives Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure adoption, behavior change, and sustained outcomes Organizational Design & Governance (15%) Provide governance and advisory on organizational design decisions across the business Support major enterprise-level org. design and restructuring initiatives Ensure alignment between organizational structure, workforce strategy, and business objectives AI Workforce Transformation (Execution-Focused) (5%) Support the definition and execution of the organizations AI workforce strategy, with a focus on implementation Coordinate cross-functional efforts to redesign work, enable AI adoption, and realize productivity gains Ensure workforce readiness and change plans are embedded within broader transformation efforts Operating Model & Ways of Working Enablement (5%) Support the evolution of operating models, ways of working, and cross-functional collaboration Drive adoption of key enablers such as:
Journey-based work models Agile methodologies Process improvement disciplines Ensure these are practically implemented and embedded across the organization Enterprise Integration Across HR (5%) Act as the central integrator across HR functions, ensuring alignment and coordination across: Talent & Workforce Strategy People & Culture Total Rewards HRMS & People Analytics Identify and resolve gaps, overlaps, and execution risks across initiatives Ensure a consistent and unified HR approach to the business Key Qualifications Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred Certifications such as Prosci, PMP, CHRL/CHRP are assets 1215+ years of experience in HR strategy, transformation, consulting, or similar roles Proven ability to drive execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives Strong experience in program management, change management, and executive-level support Experience working closely with senior executives in rapid-paced environments Exposure to organizational design, AI transformation, and operating model change preferred Experience in global organizations and/or offshore models (e.g., India) is an asset Ability to translate business objectives into workforce strategies.
Deep understanding of modern workplace trends, DEI strategy, and global workforce engagement.
Ability to balance long-term strategic goals with immediate operational needs.
Expertise leading transformational initiatives that require organizational buy-in.
Ability to guide teams through ambiguity and growth.
The salary range for this role is $160,000-$195,000.
