This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL installation, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.

Experience installing, configuring, administering, upgrading, monitoring, and supporting CockroachDB clusters.

Expertise in performance analysis, query optimization, indexing, database tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting production issues.

Experience designing and implementing highly available, cross-region database architectures with high-performance storage solutions.

Hands-on experience with RAFT replication, cross-site data replication, backup/restore strategies, disaster recovery planning, failover testing, and data consistency validation.

Experience implementing database security, access control, encryption, creating architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and mentoring technical teams.

Prior work experience at client or in client''s industry is preferred.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise PostgreSQL environments in regulated industries.





Experience working in client-facing consulting engagements with production support responsibilities.

Knowledge of financial services or capital markets environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and support CockroachDB and PostgreSQL database environments.

Design and implement highly available, cross-region distributed database architectures.

Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability.

Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.

Configure and manage RAFT-based replication and distributed database clusters.

Perform database health checks, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.

Ensure database security through access controls, encryption, and compliance with organizational policies.

Create architecture documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams.

Work directly with clients, providing consulting, implementation, troubleshooting, and production support.

Validate data consistency and perform disaster recovery and failover testing.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to deliver reliable database solutions.
