Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with strong IBM Netezza experience to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise data platform environments.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Netezza administration, performance tuning, platform support, and troubleshooting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Administer, support, and maintain IBM Netezza data warehouse environments.

Monitor platform performance and optimize system efficiency.

Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for platform-related incidents.

Manage platform upgrades, patches, migrations, and capacity planning.

Collaborate with data engineering, database, infrastructure, and application teams.

Ensure platform stability, availability, security, and compliance.

Automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.

Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability processes.

Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.





Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with IBM Netezza (Mandatory).

Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure support, or database platform administration.

Solid SQL knowledge and query performance tuning.

Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts.

Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, or similar) is preferred.

Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools.

Understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms is an advantage.

Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Database Platform Support.

Mandatory experience with IBM Netezza.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Experience working in enterprise production environments.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Data Warehousing technologies.

Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of Dev

Ops, CI/CD, or Infrastructure Automation.

Banking or Financial Services domain experience is a plus.
