Your new role As the Analyst, Client & Business Intelligence, you will play a key role in supporting business development and strategic growth initiatives through high-quality research,petitive intelligence and market analysis.
Reporting to the Manager, Client Business Intelligence, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that support client pursuits, industry initiatives and strategic planning.
This is a research-focused position rather than a traditional data analytics or dashboarding role.
You will be responsible for conductingpany, market andpetitive intelligence research, identifying target organizations and industry trends, supporting proposal and pursuit activities, and developing concise summaries and insights for senior stakeholders.
You will also leverage AI-powered tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance research efficiency and intelligence gathering.
The role offers broad exposure to Ontario-based business development initiatives and requires someone who can work independently,
think critically and proactively identify opportunities to add value.
What you''ll need to succeed 3+ years of experience in a research, market intelligence,petitive intelligence or business insights environment.
Experience within a law firm, consulting firm, professional services organization, corporate research team or similar environment is highly preferred.
Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline; backgrounds in legal studies, information science, business or related fields will be well regarded.
Strong research capabilities with the ability to synthesizeplex information into clear, actionable insights.
Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar platforms for research and summary development.
Familiarity with research platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitch
Book, Mergermarket orparable tools is considered an asset.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a natural curiosity and desire to learn.
Excellentmunication and stakeholder management abilities. A highly organized, self-motivated and proactive approach with the ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
Exposure to Power BI or other visualization tools would be beneficial but is not essential.
