Title: Appian Technical Lead Location: Toronto, ON Duration: 06-12 months Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Appian Technical Lead to design, develop, and lead enterprise-grade Appian solutions supporting digital transformation and platform modernization initiatives, including integration with systems such as OnBase.

This role provides technical leadership to ensure scalable, high-performing, and secure low-code applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in Appian BPM - Business Process Management Solid knowledge of Appian architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices Experience in designing and developing scalable Appian applications and workflows Ability to guide development teams on Appian implementation, performance tuning,



and optimization Prior work experience in a similar industry Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with integrations between Appian and enterprise systems (e.g., OnBase, APIs, databases) Knowledge of application security, data integrity, and compliance with enterprise standards Experience in establishing development governance, CI/CD practices, and deployment standards Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead the design and development of Appian applications and workflows Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and product teams Review and approve solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution Drive reusable component development and platform best practices adoption
