Be part of Autism Calgary's mission as a part time Bookkeeper, focusing on vital financial tasks to aid our charity's growth. This home-based role offers a flexible schedule while contributing to our community.
As a key member of the administrative team, you'll report to the Executive Director. Your responsibilities will include managing financial records, processing transactions, and generating reports that support our charity's fiscal health. You’ll play an important role in developing the annual budget and understanding donor patterns to assist in fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle invoices, expenses, and donation transactions
• Track and record financial performance
• Assist in annual budget formulation
• Provide detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Guide payroll and receipting processes
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in finance or accounting
• Familiarity with non-profit bookkeeping preferred
• Competency in MS Office, Google Workspace, Quickbooks Online
• Robust time management skills for multitasking
• Effective communication in a diverse community
