Valiant TMS, a global manufacturing leader, is looking for a skilled, reliable and safety-conscious CNC Machinist to join our Valco Manufacturing team. The role involves ensuring that all products meet precise specifications while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

What You’ll Get To Do

- Set up, operate, and maintain the boring mill to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and the methodology and procedures of machining.
- Verify conformance of the detail to specifications by using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometres, Vernier, and fixed gauges.
- Recognize the functions of the specific controller capabilities and program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program.
- Input additions, deletions and changes to the machining program as instructed by the CAM department.
- Decide and ensure assigned functions can be completed on specific machines.
- Machine both custom and production steel fabricated parts.

Steady afternoon position.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in machining using a Fanuc controller.
- Qualifications:
- Completed high school diploma or equivalent.




- Completed apprentice program and certification in the trade would be a bonus.
- Experience and training in the use of cranes, slings, and hoists.
- Experience with Heidenheim Controller

- Skills: Ability to read and understand blueprints with attention to detail and basic understanding of GD&T.;
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $24.00 – $34.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location.
