Role Description

Reporting to the Community Manager, the Assistant Community Manager is responsible for the administration and leasing functions at the property. The role includes implementation and execution of resident relations and engagement programs, including planning and execution of resident appreciation events. All duties will be completed while upholding QuadReal’s mission, vision, and values, serving as a brand and cultural ambassador for residents, co‑workers, vendors, and the public. This is a 6‑month contract.

Responsibilities

Leasing & Marketing

- Perform overall leasing and resident relations functions; evaluate and monitor metrics such as vacancy, sales, renewals, move‑in, move‑out, and notices.
- Partner with the leasing concierge to participate in the full leasing process: engage with prospects, conduct community tours, process applications, and compile lease documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property, availability of suite types and layouts, common areas, amenities, neighborhood, and value‑added services.
- Communicate with the Community Manager to ensure suites are delivered on time; provide move‑in inspections and new‑home orientation to new residents.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on rental rates, promotions, and market conditions to maximize revenue.

Administration & Reporting

- Issue and deliver notices such as Violation Notice, Notice to End Tenancy, Notice to Enter, Notice of Renewals via approved methods.
- Ensure compliance with privacy rules and regulations.
- Monitor aged receivables, assist with collection of delinquent rents.

Office Management

- Ensure all property management policies, procedures, and operations are executed to QuadReal standards.




- Provide administrative support: prepare notices, resident correspondence, QRLiving updates, courier & mail handling.
- Support front‑desk functions as needed.

Customer Service / Resident Relations

- Handle inquiries, feedback, complaints, or concerns professionally and courteously.
- Promote usage of resident‑facing technology.

Maintenance & Health and Safety

- Monitor deficiencies in suites and common areas; produce work orders as required.
- Conduct annual, periodic, and pre‑move‑out suite inspections; coordinate maintenance.
- Maintain adequate inventory of made‑ready suites.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety plans and emergency procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

- Experience in Property Management, Hospitality, or closely related industries.
- Post‑secondary education preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and multitasking.
- Self‑starter with initiative, flexibility, professionalism.
- Superior ability to develop and sustain relationships with staff, contractors, public, and residents.
- Passion for excellence in customer service delivery.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology.

Salary

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $50,000–$55,000, prorated for the duration of the contract. The actual salary offered will consider the candidate’s skills, experience, education, market compensation, and internal equity.
