This pivotal role within the Faculty of Applied Science involves coordinating processes that support the enrolment of over 5,300 engineering students. You will manage complex scheduling and negotiate with various stakeholders, utilizing data to inform decisions. Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of academic cycles, and scheduling, and excel in multi-tasking and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee course scheduling for engineering undergraduate programs
• Collaborate with faculty on timetabling and registration
• Manage communication with stakeholders regarding course conflicts
• Provide training to staff involved in academic advising
• Seek opportunities for systems and process improvements
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
• 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education
• Strong communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with UBC systems is an asset
