As the Manager, you play a vital role in overseeing all operations at the CNC Research Forest. This leadership position requires collaboration with academic institutions, First Nations, and industry partners, ensuring compliance with legislation while promoting educational opportunities for students in the Natural Resources & Forest Technology program. Your expertise will guide applied forestry research, manage budgets, and develop key partnerships to support our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all CNC Research Forest activities and operations
• Develop research management plans and grant applications
• Ensure environmental stewardship of forest resources
• Facilitate student employment and project involvement
• Maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in forestry or natural resources
• Minimum 5 years of experience in research administration
• Experience in forestry management and grant writing
• Registered Qualified Forester designation preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
