Employees who do NOT hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate - $per hour.





Employees who hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate - $per hour.

In cases whereadditionalduties are required as part of a Teaching Assistants duties, these hours shall be compensated at theappropriate Teaching

Assistant rate.

Duties Reporting to the Department Chair or Course Instructor, the duties and responsibilities of the Course Coordinator will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement.

These include overseeing the seminar/tutorial/lab sections for a particular course; coordinating Teaching Assistants/Lab Demonstrators/Marker-Graders and holding meetings with them; assisting in the preparation of marking schemes and coordinating the marking of course assignments and/or midterm, progress and final exams; and any other related duties as may be required by the course instructor.

Must be able to work ONLINE and have experience using MS Teams and Sakai.

Qualifications The position requires broad experience in Computer Science.

Must have previous experience in demonstrating laboratories and supervising other demonstrators.

Must have leadership and organizational skills with ability to assign duties to demonstrators and troubleshoot in the laboratory setting.

Safety is a major issue in these labs and the incumbent must be able to detect potential hazards and have the ability and skills to rapidly and appropriately deal with problems as they occur.
