The Town of Banff is on the lookout for a highly motivated recent graduate to take on the Graduate Heritage Intern role. The intern will play a crucial role in preserving and managing Banff's built heritage, assisting with research and policy development tied to the community's heritage resources. Candidates should hold a qualification in Heritage Conservation, Urban Planning, or a related field to drive impactful changes within the town.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and report on heritage significance and policies
• Document findings for internal and external stakeholders
• Help implement the Heritage Resource Action Plan
• Prepare engaging presentations for various audiences
• Work collaboratively with the Planning and Setting team
Requirements:
• Graduate from a relevant post-secondary program
• Familiarity with architectural history and community engagement
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Meet Young Canada Works eligibility criteria
• Proficient in research and report writing
