Job DescriptionIn this valuable role, the Clinical Unregulated Care Provider Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of PSWs and HSWs who are caring and making a difference for clients within the community. and goals.Engage staff in problem solving, offering education, coaching, and mentoring in resolution of problems.Maintain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide safe, efficient, effective service in all areas of practice by keeping abreast of changes in practice setting that affect scope of practice.What you bring:Current RPN or RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and entitled to practice without restrictionsMinimum of 5 years experience as a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Practical NurseComprehensive patient health assessment skills are requiredPossess an understanding of the principles of community nursing practiceProven experience leading and managing a teamKnowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines is requiredExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skillsCommitment to professional development in clinical practice that is relevant to home health careEffective critical thinking and problem-solving skillsMust possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportationAble to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)C.N.A.
