This role is essential to the Distribution Centre and Transportation team, where you will report to the Assistant Manager, Yard Operations. You will oversee the internal and external pool of trailers and ensure productive product flows in and out of the yard and off-site locations. Your keen problem-solving skills will be crucial in maintaining daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage trailer pool using Zebra Yard Management System
• Supervise on-site shunting service schedules
• Administer Dangerous Goods Placards as required
• Conduct daily yard checks and trailer summary reports
• Coordinate problem-solving for trailer assignments
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years distribution experience preferred
• Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods
• Full driver’s license required
• Forklift operating knowledge is a plus
