Job Summary We are recruiting for a Rating Specialist to join a well-established transportation and logistics organization in Oakville, ON on a 12 to 18 month maternity leave contract.

This fully onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented transportation professional with experience in freight rating, billing, LTL, FTL, and transportation documentation.

Key Responsibilities - Accurately rate freight bills for LTL, FTL, warehouse, courier, retail, and cross-border shipments. - Process freight bills, customer billing, supporting documentation, and shipment records with a high level of accuracy. - Enter, update, scan,



and maintain shipment information and transportation documents within the Transportation Management System. - Communicate with internal teams and customers to provide shipment updates and resolve rating or billing discrepancies. - Monitor daily rating activity to support billing accuracy, revenue capture, and timely processing. - Assist with administrative tasks and identify opportunities to improve freight billing and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits - $24.04 to $28.85 per hour. - $50,000 to $60,000 annually, based on experience. - Full-time, 12 to 18 month maternity leave contract. - Monday to Friday schedule. - 8-hour workday. - Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. - Fully onsite in Oakville, ON. - Supportive team environment with hands-on training. - Opportunity to expand your knowledge of freight operations and transportation billing.
