Position Requirements All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours ( 3:00 pm 8:00 pm ) as well as some Saturdays ( 9:00 am 1:00 pm ). A commitment until the end of the school year in June 2027 is preferred.





Continuing through the summer and into the following school year is even better! Your students will love working with you, and reliability is a must.

This role is in-person .

You must be able to commute to our Oakville location.

This is not an online position , and relocation packages are not available. A Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.

We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following qualifications: Education Bachelor''s degree or similar certification in a relevant field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or related discipline) Fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered Ontario teaching certification is an asset Strong knowledge of the Ontario Grades 912 curriculum in one or more of the listed subjects Ideal Subject Knowledge Candidates should be confident teaching the following senior high school subjects, inclusive of the following concepts: Physics Kinematics and dynamics Forces and motion Energy and work Waves and optics Electricity and magnetism Chemistry Atomic theory Chemical reactions Stoichiometry Solutions Organic chemistry Biology Cells Genetics Evolution Human systems Ecology Advanced Math Functions Advanced Functions Calculus and Vectors Algebra Trigonometry Exponential and logarithmic functions Candidates who are able to teach multiple senior science and/or math subjects are especially encouraged to apply.

Experience Experience teaching or tutoring Grades 912 science and/or advanced math (or equivalent)
