The Opportunity This role will work closely with a wide scope of internal areas, including Customer Care, Replenishment, Procurement, Sales, Pricing, Finance, Production and Quality.

In addition, you will interact with customers, suppliers and vendors.

Position Description Evaluate the current distribution network, warehousing, transportation and logistics services to develop a plan to efficiently meet customer needs.

Source and qualify vendors throughout our distribution and freight channels Conduct contract negotiations with 3PLs and other vendors to meet costs/service levels/fostering vendor relationships Measure both the performance and costs of third party services and identify opportunities Assist and support investigations of customer and supplier complaints Facilitate projects for ongoing improvements to fill rates and inventory KPIs Ability to travel to evaluate sites and service providers Experience 7+ years in warehousing operations including all modes of transportation 5+ plus years in fast paces supply chain setting, food manufacturing, distribution and CPG industries preferred Experience in negotiating rates with carriers and developing customer rates Microsoft Dynamics/SAP exposure/Advanced Excel and knowledge in ERP & WMS Excellent communication skills Education Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or other relevant field
