Salesforce Developer Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO) Duration: 06-12 Months Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team.

This role involves assessing and analyzing business strategies, business requirements, and current state environments to evaluate solution alternatives.

The candidate will act as a Salesforce SME, providing expert counseling and support to the engineering team.

They will contribute to the design and development on the Salesforce Financial Service Cloud and provide thought leadership for CRM transformation onto the Salesforce platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered): 8 years IT experience in a senior development role with at least 5 years of Salesforce Platform experience.

Experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development using Salesforce.com.

Proven experience operating in an Agile framework on large/enterprise programs.

Bachelor''s degree in a technical area or equivalent experience.

Hands-on experience with the Lightning platform including APEX coding, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and Salesforce Data Model.

Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and its architecture.





Robust technical background with web development technologies like Java, C#, HTML, XML, JSP, and Java

Script.

Experience integrating Salesforce applications with 3rd party systems using Mulesoft and REST API.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required): Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator.

Experience with event-based integration patterns.

Experience in providing training and upskilling staff.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role): Assess and analyze business strategies and requirements to evaluate solution alternatives.

Build a strong understanding of business domain functionality and technology options.

Provide expert counseling and support to the engineering team on application development.

Contribute to the design and development on the Salesforce Financial Service Cloud.

Assist scrum teams in gathering requirements and developing/enhancing functionality on the Salesforce platform.

Stay current on Salesforce development best practices and implement them following internal standards and guidelines.
