Unit Summary Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation is a portfolio with McMaster Children''s Hospital.

It is comprised of many different programs providing outpatient services to children and some adults with developmental, emotional/behavioural, physical or communication needs.

The Audiology service offers a full spectrum of identification, diagnostic, and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages and conditions.

The clinic operation includes a full scale Hearing Aid Dispensary.

Support is also provided to a busy ENT clinic.

Patients are referred both by hospital programs and the community.

Activities are mainly centered at the Ron Joyce Childrens Heath Center and McMaster

University Medical Centre (MUMC) sites, although service can be provided at all 4 complexes.

The program is committed to continuous learning, student placement and quality improvement.

Position Summary The Audiologist will work within a multi-disciplinary team and will provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services for a wide range of children and adults in busy environments.

Caseloads are highly varied and require a multi-skilled and flexible individual.

Schedule Work Hours Monday to Friday; days, evenings, occasional weekends This position is temporary until May 2027 Qualifications 1.

Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario 2.

Masters degree in Audiology 3.

Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations preferred 4.

Demonstrated strong clinical skills 5.

Computer skills 6.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 7.

Demonstrated commitment to team functioning 8.
