Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our Stoney Creek location.
This individual will be responsible for completing on-site preventive maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites utilizing state of the art technologies and a new purpose built truck.
Duties & Responsibilities Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner Identify issues with malfunctioning equipment, analyze the root causes, and devise appropriate solutions for repairs, replacements, or adjustments Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a service technician Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting Other duties as assigned #LI-onsite Required Skills Motivated, energetic,
and have robust oral communication skills Willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs High degree of mechanical aptitude A recent drivers abstract will be required Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Required Experience Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment Candidates with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators are key assets Motivated, energetic, and have strong oral communication skills Willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs High degree of mechanical aptitude A recent drivers abstract will be required Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
