Accountant – Public SME in manufacturing - South-Shore

Responsibilities:

- Assist Controller with financial planning, reporting, and US GAAP compliance.
- Prepare financial statements and manage plant accounting functions (costing, payroll, A/P, A/R).
- Oversee accounting, audit, and tax activities for global locations (Canada, France, Switzerland).
- Support departments with purchasing, inventory, costing, and budgeting.
- Analyze variances and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist with audits, internal controls, and asset management.
- Ensure accurate inventory and material flow in manufacturing.
- Help with budgeting, forecasts, and month-end closing.
- Provide flash reports, consolidation, and foreign currency translation.




- Lead and support the accounting team for productivity and accountability.

Qualifications:

- Fluent in French and English.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred.
- Strong process adherence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in building partnerships and leading projects.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
