Laugh and Learn Children Centre Branch is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educators.

- Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent
- Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Taking children for outdoor activities or field trips to local points of interest
- Prepare reports for parents or supervisor regarding potential learning or behavioural problems
- Guide children the development of healthy eating, proper dressing and toilet habits
- Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children




- Maintain an environment to protect health, security and well-being of children
- Co-ordinate activities of other ECE teachers and ECE assistants

Job requirements:

- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, ECE Certificate
