Position: Light Duty Cleaner

We are currently seeking a dependable and hard‑working Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is a full‑time position, with 40 hours per week, and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
- Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
- Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
- Report and store lost and found items
- May provide basic information on facilities
- May handle complaints.

Qualifications





- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is an asset
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if needed
