Overview Job Skills / Requirements Position: Part-time Security Guard Site: Atlas Tube, 200 Clark St., Harrow ON Hours: Saturday 0800-1600 Sunday 1100-1700 Payrate: $18.35 Overtime: Averaging Agreement Key Responsibilities: Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly Enthusiastically conduct proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns.
Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources.
Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Clients staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required.
Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the client.
Prerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider English (oral and written) fluency is a must 3 Years of experience in security is preferred Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin''s Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Legally authorized to work in Canada Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the certifications with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability Why choose Paladin?
