Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience Work site environment Noisy Dangerous Outdoors At heights Dusty Hot Work setting Fitting Installation Tasks Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery Read blueprints to determine work requirements Move and align subassemblies and components Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards Welding techniques MIG Equipment and machinery experience Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
