Extrusion Technician / Extruder Operatorto join our manufacturing team.

This role involves operating extrusion machinery as well as performing downstream packaging tasks.

The ideal candidate will have hands?on experience in extrusion, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a quick?paced industrial environment. A significant portion of this position involvespackaging finished product.

You will be trained on packaging equipment and expected to follow packaging specifications accurately.

This work requires standing, bending, lifting, and at times using a lift?assist device.

Key Responsibilities Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, material flow) and make necessary adjustments Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance Operate packaging equipment and follow packaging specifications for finished product Perform packaging tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and using lift?assist devices when required Document production data and machine settings accurately Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Requirements Minimum 2 years of extrusion experience in a manufacturing environment High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem?solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical documents and production schedules Basic math and computer skills Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work in a hot, noisy industrial setting and wear required PPE Why Join Us?
