As a Recovery Coach, your mission is to foster trust and safety among individuals seeking help. You will utilize your personal experiences to provide motivational support, practical harm reduction education, and assist clients in accessing vital services like housing and mental health care. This peer-based role is crucial for bridging gaps in support and enhancing client pathways to recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet clients where they are, fostering a judgment-free atmosphere
• Educate on harm reduction and overdose prevention




• Assist in defining and achieving personal recovery goals
• Help clients navigate health and social resource systems
• Document interactions for continuous care and team communication
Requirements:
• Certification in Recovery Coaching or willingness to pursue
• Experience in substance use support roles
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction
• Preferred non-violent crisis intervention training
• Valid driver’s license and transportation
