Drive compliance management at Strathcona County as the Compliance Coordinator. Oversee development permit processes while ensuring adherence to County bylaws and service excellence.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the Compliance Management & Advisory Services team, focusing on compliance with land use bylaws and administration of development permits. Your strong knowledge of planning legislation will guide key decisions and enhance operational excellence while ensuring staff are equipped to inform and educate the public effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the administration function of CMAS and customer service
• Provide oversight on guidelines and policies related to compliance
• Manage team development, evaluations, and workload assignments




• Prepare budgets for CMAS operations and monitor financials
• Lead proactive customer service efforts with an educational component
Requirements:
• Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Planning or Land Development
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant public role
• Solid understanding of community planning laws and principles
• Solid communication and mediation skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse professional teams
